Dell Latitude 5530 and 7530 Specs and Details

The Dell Latitude 5530 and Dell Latitude 7530 are new professional-oriented 15-inch Ultrabooks that run Windows Pro with an Intel Alder Lake-U processor, SSD storage or connectivity with infrared webcam, Wi-Fi 6E and Thunderbolt 4, all in a thin and light chassis.

The Dell Latitude 5530 is a new Ultrabook that weighs 1.59 Kg and measures 357.9 x 233.3 x 20.77-22.15 mm.

It runs Windows 10/11 Pro with a 4-cell 58Whr battery with ExpressCharge technology for 80% charging in 60 minutes, paired with a 65W USB-C charger.

This laptop offers Wi-Fi 6E ax (2×2, Intel AX211), Bluetooth 5.2, HDMI 2.0, headphone/mic combo audio, Gigabit Ethernet, 2 USB 3.2 (Gen1, 1 PowerShare) and 2 USB 4 Type-C Thunderbolt 4 as well as a microSD card reader.

Optional micro-SIM slots are provided to get 4G and smart card reader.

But also a fingerprint reader by which you can authenticate biometrically via Windows Hello.
This technology is also exploited by the 1080p infrared webcam allowing facial recognition.

As standard there is a 720p HD webcam with microphone, as well as a backlit chiclet keyboard with numeric keypad. There are also 2 Waves MaxxAudio Pro speakers (2 x 2W, Realtek).

The Dell Latitude 5530 is based on a low-power Intel processor Alder Lake-U Core i5-1235U (10 cores: 2P 1.3GHz, 8E 0.9GHz), Core i5-1245U (10 cores: 2P 1.6GHz, 8E 1.2GHz), Core i7-1255U (10 cores: 2P 1.7GHz, 8E 1.2GHz) or Core i7-1265U (10 cores: 2P 1.8GHz, 8E 1.3GHz), all incorporating the Iris Xe graphics solution.

The Alder Lake is paired with 8/16GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM (2 slots) as well as 256GB to 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD storage.

This laptop entrusts its display to a 15.6-inch Full HD (1920×1080) 250cd/m² anti-glare screen.

Designed partly in recycled materials, the Dell Latitude 5530 is announced for 1570 euros with a Core i5-1235U, 16 GB DDR4, SSD 512 GB, infrared webcam and fingerprint reader, the price climbing 300 euros to switch to a Core i7-1265U.

The Dell Latitude 7530 is more upscale with its design offered in several options: carbon fiber of 1.54 Kg of 357.7 x 229.75 x 17.73 mm or aluminum Titan Gray of 1.76 Kg and 357.7 x 229.75 x 17.5 mm.

Without a numeric keypad and Ethernet port, it offers Wi-Fi 6E ax (2×2, Intel AX211), Bluetooth 5.2, HDMI 2.0, headphone/mic combo audio, 2 USB 3.2 (Gen1, 1 PowerShare) and 2 USB 4 Type-C Thunderbolt 4 as well as optional SIM and smart card slots.
