A new professional Ultrabook, the compact 14-inch Dell Precision 3470 runs Windows Pro with an Intel Alder Lake-P processor, NVIDIA Pro graphics card, SSD storage, Wi-Fi 6E and Thunderbolt 4 connectivity, all in a thin and light chassis.
The Dell Precision 3470 is a new laptop that weighs 1.49 Kg and measures 321.35 x 212 x 20.95-24.6 mm.
It runs on Windows 10/11 Pro with a 4-cell 64Whr battery associated with a 90W or 130W adapter if the dedicated graphics card to Turing architecture NVIDIA T550 4 GB DDR6 professional is embedded.
This versatile Ultrabook offers Wi-Fi 6E ax (2×2, Intel AX211), Bluetooth 5.2, HDMI 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet, Headphone/Mic combo audio, 2 USB 3.2 (Gen1, 1 PowerShare) and 2 USB-C Thunderbolt 4 as well as a microSD card reader.
It is based on a low-power Intel processor (TDP 28W) Alder Lake-P Core i5-1250P (12 cores: 4P 1.7 GHz, 8E 1.2 GHz), Core i7-1260P (12 cores: 4P 2.1 GHz, 8E 1.5 GHz) or Core i7-1270P (12 cores: 4P 2.2 GHz, 8E 1.6 GHz), all integrating the Intel Iris Xe graphics solution.
Its core also consists of 8/16/32 GB DDR5 4800MHz of RAM (2 slots) as well as M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD storage from 256 GB to 1 TB.
The Dell Precision 3470 entrusts its display to a 14-inch Full HD (1920×1080) anti-glare 250cd/m² display.
Also included are 2 MaxxAudio Pro Waves speakers (2 x 2W), a backlit chiclet keyboard and a 720p HD webcam with microphone.
Optionally an infrared webcam is planned, allowing biometric authentication by facial recognition, via Windows Hello.
It also warns when it detects that another user is looking at the screen and darkens the panel when the computer is not in use during defined energy-saving ranges.
Count 1799 euros for a Dell Precision 3470 with Core i5-1250P, 16 GB DDR5, SSD 512 GB and NVIDIA T550, against 2399 euros for an edition with Core i7-1260P, 32 GB DDR5, SSD 1 TB and NVIDIA T550.
