New thin and light laptop, the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 14ABA7 is a compact laptop with a colorful aluminum design that integrates in its thin and light 14-inch chassis an AMD Barcelo processor up to the Octo Core Ryzen 7, PCIe SSD storage 4.0 or a Wi-Fi 6 and USB-C connection.
The Lenovo IdeaPad 5 14ABA7 is a new laptop built around a low-power Barcelo AMD APU (Accelerated Processing Unit) processor either Quad Core Ryzen 3 5425U (2.7 GHz) integrating the Radeon Vega 6 graphics module, or Hexa Core Ryzen 5 5625U (2.3 GHz) with Radeon Vega 7 graphics module or Octo Core Ryzen 7 5825U (2.0 GHz) with Radeon Vega 8.
Its heart also consists of 8/16 GB DDR4 3200MHz of soldered RAM as well as M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 x4 or PCIe 4.0 x3 SSD storage from 256 GB to 1 TB (2242 or 2280 format).
This laptop also has Wi-Fi 6 ax (2×2), Bluetooth 5.1, HDMI 1.4b, Headset / Microphone combo audio, 2 USB 3.2 (Gen1, 1 Always On) and 2 USB 3.2 Type-C (Gen1) as well as a 4-in-1 SD/SDHC/SDXC/MMC card reader.
It entrusts its display to a 14-inch anti- reflective 16/9th screen either Full HD (1920×1080) 45% NTSC 250cd/m² 500:1, IPS Full HD 45% NTSC 300cd/m² 700:1, or IPS Full HD 100% sRGB 300cd/m² 1200:1.
Above is a webcam either HD 720p or Full HD 1080p, with privacy shutter to preserve privacy.
Also included are 2 Dolby Audio speakers (2 x 2W), a chiclet keyboard with optional backlighting of the keys. Another option: a fingerprint reader integrated into the power button allowing biometric authentication via Windows Hello.
The Lenovo IdeaPad 5 14ABA7 comes in Abyss Blue (dark blue), Cloud Gray (light silver), Stone Blue (light blue) and Storm Gray (dark silver) designs.
But also in a chassis either all aluminum which weighs 1.39 Kg and measures 321.69 x 211.84 x 16.9 mm , or aluminum shell and plastic base of 1.38 Kg for a thickness of 17.9 mm .
The new Lenovo IdeaPad 5 14ABA7 compact laptop PC offers an announced autonomy of 11 hours under Windows 11 (Pro) with its 56.5Whr Li-Polymer battery associated with a 65W USB-C charger.
It can be recharged for 2 hours in 15 minutes thanks to Rapid Charge Boost technology.
