Lenovo launches its new ultraportable Lenovo IdeaPad S540-13ARE based on AMD Renoir processor up to the Octo Core Ryzen 7 and equipped with a 13 inch QHD screen which offers a battery life of more than 14 hours.

In addition, it offers an announced autonomy of 2:30 p.m. in Windows 10 (Pro) with its 56Whr Li-Polymer battery rechargeable to 80% in 1 hour thanks to Rapid Charge technology.
The new Lenovo IdeaPad S540-13ARE ultraportable is built around an AMD Renoir low-consumption Hexa Core Ryzen 5 4600U (2.1 GHz) processor with Vega 6 or Octo Core Ryzen 7 4800U (1.8 GHz) graphics solution with Vega 7.
The Renoir processor comes with 8/16 GB DDR4 3200MHz (dual-channel) RAM (soldered) as well as M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4 SSD storage in 2242 or 2280 format.

Its treatment is brilliant while we expect anti-glare for a computer that wants to be mobile. A low-consumption screen option is planned, with the same characteristics.
On the connection side, the Lenovo IdeaPad S540-13ARE is equipped with Wi-Fi ax (2×2) or Wi-Fi ac (2×2) and Bluetooth 5.0 modules , a headphone / microphone combo audio port, 1 USB 3.0 and 2 USB 3.1 Type-C (Gen1). However, it ignores an HDMI video output.
This ultraportable is also equipped with 2 Dolby Audio speakers (2 x 2W), a backlit chiclet keyboard but also a 720p HD webcam with Infrared webcam option to authenticate by facial recognition via Windows Hello technology .
According to our information in France for the moment, 2 models are expected. The first with Ryzen 7, 16 GB DDR4 and low consumption screen, the second with Ryzen 5, 8 GB of RAM and classic screen. Both are provided with 512 GB SSD, Infrared webcam and Wi-Fi ax connection.
