The Lenovo ThinkPad T490 14-inch Ultrabook comes in a new versatile version announced at the IFA 2019 show built around a 10-generation Intel Core Comet Lake processor. It offers a battery life of 16 hours.
Lenovo is therefore upgrading its ThinkPad T490-based professional-oriented Ultrabook that is coming out with an Intel Core 10th Generation Comet Lake Dual Core i3-10110U (2.1 GHz), Quad Core i5-10210U (1.6 GHz), Quad Core i7-10510U ( 1.8 GHz) or Hexa Core i7 -10710U (1.1 GHz), all with Intel UHD 620 integrated graphics solution.
Comet Lake comes with up to 48GB of DDR4 2400MHz RAM, M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD storage up to 1TB, and optional NVIDIA Pascal GeForce MX250 dedicated graphics card .
Connectivity side, it relies on modules Wi-Fi ax (Wi-Fi 6 AX-201) or Wi-Fi ac (Intel Wireless-AC 9560), Bluetooth 5.0 and 4G / LTE (optional), an NFC chip, microSD card reader, HDMI 1.4 video output, Headphone / Mic and Gigabit Ethernet combo audio ports, 2 USB 3.0, 1 USB 3.1 Type-C and 1 USB 3.1 Type-C (Gen2) Thunderbolt 3 .
In terms of display, the new Lenovo ThinkPad T490 is equipped with a 14-inch screen with multiple options: WXGA HD (1366×768) 220cd / m², IPS Full HD (1920×1080) 250cd / m², IPS Full HD Touch 300 cd / m² , IPS Full HD PrivacyGuard (protection against prying eyes) 400cd / m², IPS Full HD low consumption 400cd / m² or IPS WQHD (2560×1440) Dolby Vision 500cd / m².

Featuring a sleek, professional black design, the new Lenovo ThinkPad T490 Ultrabook delivers 16 hours of talk time on Windows 10 (Pro) with its 50Whr battery that can be recharged to 80% in 60 minutes using Rapid Charge technology.
