New Asus Zenbook 14 with AMD Ryzen 7000 – Specs and Overview

A new Ultrabook Asus Zenbook 14 is unveiled on the web equipped with a new generation AMD Ryzen 7000 processor around a 14-inch sRGB 2.5K screen and SSD storage, all in a thin and light chassis.

The Asus Zenbook 14 is a new versatile laptop that appeared on Asus Turkey.

It is announced with an AMD Ryzen 7 7730 processor which therefore belongs to the future Ryzen 7000 range and according to the new nomenclature of the brand adopts the Barcelo Refresh architecture, a Zen 3.

It is therefore not a processor using the new Zen 4 architecture proposed by the Phoenix and Dragon Range.

Still, here the Ryzen 7 7730 – probably an Octo Core – which integrates a Radeon Vega graphics solution is associated with 8/16 GB LPDDR4x 4266MHz of soldered RAM as well as M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4 SSD storage with a maximum capacity of 1 TB.

It entrusts its display to a 14-inch 16/10th IPS 2.5K (2560×1600) NanoEdge thin edges 100% sRGB 400cd/m² screen, topped by an HD webcam with microphone.

Equipped with Wi-Fi 6E ax, Bluetooth 5, HDMI, headphone/mic combo audio, USB and USB-C, this new Asus Zenbook 14 runs on Windows 11 (Pro) with a 75Whr battery.

It weighs 1.39 Kg and measures 16.9 mm thick, while adopting an elegant dark and discreet chassis.

AMD is expected to officially communicate more widely about its future Ryzen 7000 processors at CES 2023 in early January in Las Vegas.
