New nomadic aluminum Ultrabooks with a battery life of 10 hours, the Lenovo ThinkBook 14 G5 IRL and Lenovo ThinkBook 15 G5 IRL with 14 and 15-inch IPS Full HD display with touch option rely on an Intel Raptor Lake processor, PCIe 4.0 SSD storage or Thunderbolt 4 and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity.

The Lenovo ThinkBook 14 G5 IRL is a new thin and light laptop with a two-tone Mineral Grey anodized finish aluminum design that measures 323x 218 x 17.9mm.
It is built around a low-power hybrid Raptor Lake Intel Core 13th generation processor housing the Iris Xe graphics module:
– or Raptor Lake-U (15W) like the Core i3-1315U, Core i5-1335U and Core i7-1355U.
– or Raptor Lake-P (28W) such as Core i5-1340P and Core i7-1360P.

The Raptor Lake is paired with a maximum DDR4 3200MHz RAM of 32GB (8/16GB soldered 1 slot) as well as 2 M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD slots of 256GB to 1TB in 2242 format, and 512GB or 1TB in 2280 format.
This Ultrabook is also equipped with Wi-Fi 6/6E ax (2×2), Bluetooth 5.1, HDMI (4K@60Hz), Gigabit Ethernet (Intel I219), headphone/mic combo audio, 2 USB 3.2 (Gen1, 1 Always On), 1 USB 3.2 Type-C (Gen2) and 1 USB 4 Type-C Thunderbolt 4 as well as a 4-in-1 SD/SDHC/SDXC/MMC card reader
It offers a 14-inch screen either TN Full HD (1920×1080) 250cd/m² 45% NTSC 500:1 anti-glare, or IPS Full HD 300cd/m² 45% NTSC 700:1 anti-glare with 10-point multi-touch touch option, or IPS Full HD 300cd/m² 100% sRGB 1200:1 anti-glare.
IPS models feature low blue light emission technology.

Above the screen is a 720p HD or Full HD 1080p webcam, with microphone and privacy shutter to preserve privacy.
There are also 2 speakers (2 x 1.5W) Dolby Audio, a fingerprint reader integrated into the power button for biometric authentication via Windows Hello but also a splash-resistant chiclet keyboard optionally adorned with a key backlight solution.

Rugged with its compliance with the MIL-STD-810H military resistance standard, the Lenovo ThinkBook 14 G5 IRL with a 65W adapter offers an advertised battery life of 8 hours under Windows 11 (Pro) with its 45Whr Li-Polymer battery rechargeable by 50% in 30 minutes thanks to Rapid Charge Pro technology.
A 60Whr Li-Polymer battery option rechargeable by 80% in 1 hour with Rapid Charge technology is also provided as an option, ensuring an advertised autonomy of 10h20.

With a more comfortable format with its dimensions of 357 x 235 x 18.9 mm for a weight of 1.7 Kg, its big brother the Lenovo ThinkBook 15 G5 IRL welcomes on the right a numeric keypad.
It stands out mainly for its announced autonomy of 7:30 with 45Whr battery and 9:30 with 60Whr battery.
But also obviously by its larger screen of 15.6 inches, the contrast of IPS panels Full HD 45% NTSC being 800: 1.
