The Lenovo ThinkBook 14 G6 IRL and Lenovo ThinkBook 16 G6 IRL are new mobile Ultrabooks with 11-hour battery life and 16/10th screen up to IPS 2.5K sRGB that run on Intel Raptor Lake processor, PCIe 4.0 SSD storage or connectivity with Thunderbolt 4 and Wi-Fi 6E.
The Lenovo ThinkBook 14 G6 IRL is a new compact Ultrabook that measures 313.5 x 224 x 16.9 mm and weighs 1.38 Kg.
It adopts a two-tone aluminum design sandblasted anodized Arctic Grey finish robust by its compliance with the US military resistance standard MIL-STD-810H.
This laptop is based on a 13th generation Intel Core Raptor Lake hybrid processor hosting the Iris Xe graphics part:
– Raptor Lake-U low power (15W): Core i3-1315U, Core i5-1335U or Core i7-1355U
– Raptor Lake-P low power (28W) Core i5-1340P or Core i7-1360P
– Raptor Lake-H (45W) Core i5-13500H or Core i7-13700H
At the heart of this laptop running Windows 11 (Pro) or an Ubuntu Linux distribution also take place up to 64 GB DDR5 5200MHz of RAM (2 slots) as well as 2 M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 x4 slots for SSD of 256 GB or 512 GB or 1 TB in 2242 format, or 512 GB / 1 TB in 2280 format.
The new Lenovo ThinkBook 14 G6 IRL also offers Wi-Fi 6E/6 ax (2×2), Bluetooth 5.1, HDMI 2.1 (4K@60Hz), Gigabit Ethernet (Intel I219-LM or I219-V) and headphone/mic combo audio, 2 USB 3.2 (Gen1, 1 Always On), 1 USB 3.2 Type-C (Gen2), 1 USB 4 Type-C Thunderbolt 4 and a 4-in-1 SD/SDHC/SDXC/MMC card reader.
A fingerprint reader is inserted as standard in the power button to authenticate biometrically through Windows Hello technology.
It is also exploited by the 1080p infrared webcam for facial recognition.
By default this PC comes with a 720p HD webcam with microphone and Privacy Shutter to preserve privacy, a 1080p Full HD webcam option is also provided.
There is also a splash-resistant chiclet keyboard with optional key backlight solution and 2 speakers (2 x 2W) Dolby Audio.
The Lenovo ThinkBook 14 G6 IRL also offers a 14-inch 16/10th low blue light emission IPS Full HD (1920×1200) 300cd/m² 45% NTSC 800:1 anti-glare with 10-point multi-touch option with anti-fingerprint treatment or IPS 2.2K (2240×1400) 300cd/m² 100% sRGB 1500:1 anti-glare.
It offers an advertised autonomy of 11 hours with its 60Whr rechargeable Li-Polymer battery of 80% in 1 hour thanks to Rapid Charge technology, autonomy that increases to 9 hours with the standard Li-Polymer battery 45Whr rechargeable by 50% in 30 minutes via Rapid Charge Pro.A USB-C adapter of 65W or 100W is provided.
Several editions of the Lenovo ThinkBook 14 G6 IRL are planned in France, mainly under Raptor Lake-U or Raptor Lake-H, with 512 GB or 1 TB SSD, Full HD panel, Wi-Fi 6 and infrared webcam.
Its big brother the Lenovo ThinkBook 16 G6 IRL adopts a larger format that weighs 1.7 Kg and measures 356 x 253.5 x 17.5 mm.
This allows it to accommodate a numeric keypad on the right of the keyboard.
Its 45Whr and 71Whr battery options offer a claimed battery life of 9 hours and 13 hours respectively.
The Lenovo ThinkBook 16 G6 IRL entrusts its display to a 16-inch 16/10th screen with low blue light emission IPS Full HD (1920×1200) 300cd/m² 45% NTSC 800:1 anti-glare with 10-point multi-touch touch option with anti-fingerprint treatment or IPS 2.5K (2560×1600) 350cd/m² 100% sRGB 1000:1 anti-glare.
The Lenovo ThinkBook 16 G6 IRL is also expected in several configurations in France, mainly in the same terms as for the 14-inch edition.
