The Lenovo ThinkPad L13 Gen 4, Lenovo ThinkPad L14 Gen 4 and Lenovo ThinkPad L15 Gen 4 are new thin and light 13-, 14- and 15-inch laptops built around an AMD Ryzen 7000 Barcelo Refresh processor, PCIe 4.0 SSD storage, a Full HD panel or Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, USB-C but also 4G.
The Lenovo ThinkPad L13 Gen 4 is a new ultraportable with a black Thunder Black or Storm Grey dark silver design that weighs 1.26 Kg and measures 305 x 218 x 17.23 mm.
It runs on Windows 11 (Pro) with a battery that can be charged by 80% in 1 hour thanks to Rapid Charge technology.
3 battery options are provided: Li-Polymer 46.5Whr associated with a 65W or 100W adapter ensuring an autonomy of 8 hours, Li-Polymer 57Whr with 65W or 100W adapter for an autonomy of 9h30 or Li-Polymer 63Whr with 100W adapter for an autonomy of 12 hours.
This laptop is based on a low-power AMD Ryzen 7000 Barcelo Refresh Quad Core Ryzen 3 Pro 7330U, Hexa Core Ryzen 5 Pro 7530U or Octo Core Ryzen 7 Pro 7730U processor, all with integrated Radeon graphics.
The Barcelo Refresh comes with 8/16/32 GB DDR4 3200MHz of soldered RAM as well as M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD storage in 2242 format with a capacity of 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB.
The Lenovo ThinkPad L13 Gen 4 also offers Wi-Fi 6E ax (2×2, AMD RZ616), Bluetooth 5.1, HDMI (4K@60Hz), headphone/mic combo audio, 2 USB 3.2 (Gen1, 1 Always On) and 2 USB 3.2 Type-C (Gen2).
Optional are a Smart Card reader, an NFC chip or a 4G/LTE module.
This compact laptop announces itself with a 13.3-inch 16/10th IPS Full HD (1920×1080) screen or 300cd/m² 45% NTSC 800:1, or 300cd/m² 100% sRGB 1000:1, or 400cd/m² 100% sRGB 1000:1 with low blue light emission, or 300cd/m² 72% NTSC 1000:1 multi-touch touch 10 points capacitive.
Above the screen is a 720p/1080p HD webcam with microphone and privacy shutter to preserve privacy.
An infrared webcam option allowing facial recognition and therefore biometric authentication through Windows Hello is also part of the game as well as a fingerprint reader option inserted in the power button.
There is also a splash-resistant chiclet keyboardwith key backlighting option.
It is supported by 2 pointing solutions: the classic touchpad and the rarest and more accurate TrackPoint.
The new Lenovo ThinkPad L13 Gen 4 with aluminum design is planned in several configurations in France, mainly with Ryzen 5 or Ryzen 7, 16 GB of RAM, SSD of 512 GB or 1 TB, IPS panel 45% NTSC 300cd / m², backlit keyboard and infrared webcam fingerprint reader with Thunder Black design, with a 46Whr battery and 45W USB-C adapter.
The Lenovo ThinkPad L14 Gen 4 stands out for its slightly more comfortable Thunder Black design and its maximum battery life of 14 hours, 10:30 and 8:30 respectively with its 63Whr/57Whr/46.5Whr battery.
If it weighs 1.4 Kg, it announces with dimensions of 325.4 x 217 x 18.93 mm in aluminum edition against 325.4 x 217 x 19.83 mm in plastic version.
In addition, its maximum RAM is 64 GB DDR4 3200MHz (2 slots) and its M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD storage (2242) with a maximum capacity of 2 TB.
It also offers Wi-Fi 6E ax (2×2, AMD RZ616), Bluetooth 5.1, HDMI (4K@60Hz), Gigabit Ethernet, headphone/mic combo audio, 2 USB 3.2 (Gen1, 1 Always On) but also 1 USB 3.2 Type-C (Gen1) and 1 USB 3.2 Type-C (Gen2) as well as a microSD card reader.
The new Lenovo ThinkPad L14 Gen 4 is designed with a 14-inch 16/9th Full HD (1920×1080) screen either TN 220cd/m² 45% NTSC 400:1, or IPS 250cd/m² 45% NTSC 800:1, or IPS 400cd/m² 72% NTSC 1500:1 low power, or IPS 300cd/m² 45% NTSC 1000:1 capacitive 10-point multi-touch touch.
Finally the Lenovo ThinkPad L15 Gen 4 larger format welcomes on the right of the keyboard a numeric keypad thanks to its dimensions of 360.2 x 237 x 19.93 mm for a weight of 1.77 Kg.
It differs from the 14-inch version by its 15.6-inch IPS Full HD screen or 250cd / m² 45% NTSC 800: 1 anti-glare, or 300cd / m² 45% NTSC 800: 1 touch multi-touch 10 points brilliant.
