The Huawei MateBook X Pro is introduced at IFA 2022, a new thin and light Ultrabook laptop with 14-inch 3K 90Hz 3:2 screen based on an Intel Alder Lake processor as well as PCIe 4.0 SSD storage and featuring Thunderbolt 4 and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity.
New thin and light Ultrabook expected in Space Grey (grey), Ink Blue (blue) and White (white) colours, the Huawei MateBook X Pro 2022 measures 310 x 221 x 15.5 mm and weighs 1.26 Kg, less than the 1.33 Kg of the 2021 edition.
It integrates an Intel Alder Lake processor and more precisely Alder Lake-P up to the Core i7-1260P (12 cores, 2.1 GHz, 4P 8E) housing within it the Intel Iris Xe graphics part.
The core of this versatile laptop also consists of 16GB LPDDR5 5200MHz of soldered RAM as well as M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD storage with a capacity of 512GB or 1TB.
The new Huawei MateBook X Pro 2022 also offers Wi-Fi 6E ax (2×2), Bluetooth 5.2, headphone/microphone combo audio, 2 USB-C and 2 USB-C Thunderbolt 4.
No standard USB port or HDMI video output so, but we can of course use appropriate adapters if necessary.
On the display side, this laptop is adorned with a 14.2-inch FullView screen in almost square format 3:2 and definition 3K (3120×2080) 500cd / m² with a frequency of 90Hz.
There are also 6 speakers, a 720p HD webcam with Quad microphone and a backlit chiclet keyboard (1.5 mm stroke).
A fingerprint reader is also present to authenticate biometrically via Windows Hello technology.
Free Touch technology is also part of the game to offer more gestures supported by the touchpad. In fact 8 gestures are recognized, for example to take a screenshot or minimize /close a window.
Equipped with a 60Whr battery paired with a 90W USB-C adapter, the Huawei MateBook X Pro 2022 runs on Windows 11 (Pro).
It is expected for September 16 from 2199 euros, initially in blue.
